Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had been taking phentermine. My lost dose was 6 weeks ago. I went to GNC and they recommended I take OxyElite Pro instead. I have rheumatoid arthiritis. I take etodolac and receive an infusion of Orencia every month. Is OxyElite Pro safe to take?
Welcome to HCM! Oxyelite Pro has been banned in the US and in trouble with the FDA for years. It has been known to cause liver failure in 16 states in the U.S. While the produc claims it has been reformulated, when investigated in 2015 it was found to contain Prozac. The FDA is again recommending that individuals not purchase Oxyelite Pro due to potential dangerous side-effects.
Out of all the products available to assist with weight loss, this is one of the least reputable and potentially most dangerous on its own and then to mix it with phentermine, a type of amphetamine, is an extremely dangerous and potentially lethal combination. I hope I have addressed your query. To your health, Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
