How Safe Is Taking Tylenol And Ibuprofen For Cold, cough And Fever?
You know how it gets with everyone running to the doc for a fix. I would like to know if I am sick enough to help. Can a visit to the doc fix me? I started with a fever and aches and sneezing on Saturday. Sunday more of the same only a sore throat and a cough, Monday it started to hurt to cough in my ribs and throat, my ears hurt when I swallow. I can't talk without coughing. I don't want to eat. I have been drinking lots so I don't cough. My nose is runny. When I climb the stairs I have to lay down and catch my breath. I have been taking tylenol or ibuprofen every 6 hours alternately. Any suggestions?
hi, welcome to HCM, the above complaints suggest that you got Viral upper respiratory tract infection..i suggest you to take tab paracetamol 500 mg three times a day and whenever required there on..its also better to take tab levocetrizine 5mg once at night for runny nose till symptoms subside... since it looks like viral no antibiotics required... get well soon... if any queries please feel free to ask...
