How Safe Is Using Flagyl And Topzole To Eradicate H.Pylori From Stomach?

Hi 3 weeks ago after a gastroskopi I was prescribed Topzole 40 mg in mornings to control my burps and night stomach pains (have had high acidity for many year) Today my doctors GP noticed that report from gastroenterologist says H pylori has not beed eradicated so prescribed on top of Topzole: Flagyl 400 twice a day, doxycyl 100 twice a day and Denol swallow tablets (120mg bismuth) 1 pill twice a day. Is it correct? - all internet sources say 2 pills twice a day or 1 pill 4 times a day. What do I do? Thank you

Hello there. Your regimen is right except for the dose of bismuth. It would be good to discuss that with your doctor. The dose you mentioned is the right prescribing dose. We don't know if this dose was chosen for any particular reason. If you take it at the right dose hpylori eradication is certain. Take care.
