How Serious Is Left Ventricular Hypertrophy?

How serious is left ventricular hypertrophy? I've read this can happen with high BP, but I do not have High BP Rapid heart beat landed me in ER and my BP got up to 178 over90. Can I over come this or is this permanent damage? Thank you for and advice you can give me.

hai,

Left ventricular hypertrophy is a indication for heart related problems.
from your history, your hypertension may be a cause for Left ventricular hypertrophy.
LVH is not a disease. in certain condition like hypertension,aortic stenosis (defect in blood vessel),damage or disease in hear muscle will lead to LVH.

kindly do an ECG and consult a cardiologist to rule out the cause for your problem.
