How Should High Blood Pressure With Sweating Be Treated?
I am 35 years old male, I do work night shifts and unfortunately I have consume some caffeine during the night in order to stay awake and do my job. I do have high blood pressure and as of this time it is 168/122. I am on medications as doctor prescribed to be taken and another problem is that I can't really afford to go to the doctor on the regular basis. My doctor also avised me that during any given night shift, I can only consume no more than two cups of coffe, depends on a size of coffe cup or maybe even a coffe mug. My question is, if I am facing some major problems in the near future and if I already my have a heart disease, because another factor is that I tend to sweat a lot.
The caffeine consumption tends to raise the blood pressure, and it is not uncommon. Heart problems are not rare even at your age. I would recommend a cardiac check-up with echocardiogram and a stress test. Furthermore, you should be tested for vanylmandelic acid levels and/or other metanephrines in urine.
I hope I was helpful. Feel free to ask and consult me again
