Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
This much intensity of pain has to be definitely evaluated thoroughly in terms of proper clinical examination, laboratory data,
ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis, if required
colonoscopy +/- CT scan of the abdomen according to the clinician evaluation.
Differential diagnoses include intestinal colic, bowel
ischemia, intestinal stricture, tumors, gut motility disorders, and others. I will recommend to add OTC
Prilosec prior to meals and omit to take
Codeine that may produce further
constipation.
General guidelines to get some more relief.
• Drink plenty of liquids as possible in fractions
• Take small amounts of light diet at regular intervals
• Avoid all oily, spicy, non-vegetarian stuff, and junk foods
• Avoid smoking/alcohol/abuse substances if any using
• Avoid sleeping for 2 hours after meals
• Avoid prolong fasting or overeating
• Diet should be rich in high fiber, whole grains, green leafy vegetables, probiotics, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and trace elements
• Avoid high fat dairy cheese products
• Avoid stress or
anxiety • Regular sound sleep of 7 to 8 hours
• Remain ambulatory, regular walking, exercises, and yoga helps a lot
