General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your surgeon most likely done incision and drainage and kept it for secondary intention wound healing. So you should have a proper wound toilet and dressing everyday. Avoid irritants if the wound is clean. Use saline for wound irrigation and cleaning. Granulation tissue will come and cover up the wound gradually. If you send a picture of the wound then it will be more helpful.
Thanks.
