How To Avoid The Ear Drum Rupture Due To Pressure And Fluid Build Up?
I have had a eardrum rupture multiple times due to pressure and/or fluid buildup. I frequently have sharp intermittent ear pain with no other signs or symptoms of illness. When I have my docs (I work in an ED)look at it, they tell me it's fluid behind the ear but no infection. I am 33F with no PMH except for the ear drum rupture x 3. Is there a way to prevent this? Or a procedure for it? Thanks. JLB
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand this if you do have history of ear drum perforation now you have to take care for infection and cold and cough because this conditions could be harmful for perforated ear drum, if you fell like cold and cough, immediately see the doctor that is the only precaution you can take otherwise surgical repairs is the permanent solution for this, hope this information helps you have nice day.
