I understand that the formula for calculating kcal from fat with propofol is: weight x 0.144 x number of mcg x 1.1. My question is this: what weight to use for calculating purposes; weight in ICU varies considerably from 1 day to the next. ?Use admission weight unless patient is losing weight during the stay. thanks
