How To Calculate Ovulation Dates While Having Irregular Periods?

I had regular cycles( 25) before marriage.. After marriage I had irregular cycles (22,23,24,25,26,21 also). I am trying to conceive.. we tried for two months but didnt conceive. When do I actually ovulate and which dates are preferable for conceiving??

Hello,

In case of irregular menses one cannot predict precise duration of ovulation for the planning of baby. However, keep a diary of menstrual dates for the following 6 months period, take an average of the 6 and that is your average menses period.

Now, whatever, average value of menstrual period came out, divide the number by 2 would be your possible ovulation period. Best fertility aspects can be gained via planning of daily intercourse without protection for a period of 5 days before and 5 days after the probable date of ovulation evaluated by above mentioned formula.
