How To Clear The Lungs From Toxic Chemicals?

my usband was working in a foundry and breathing in a lot of black sand/dust it had a lot of chemicals in it. now he has a chronic cough and has trouble breathing, he has spells of coughing along with trouble breathing. what can we do to get the chemical out of his system?

try cough expectorant syrup and saline garle which will help subside the symptoms and also can clear the lungs up to an extent, try it till the symptoms subsides, also provide a x-ray chest for better diagnosis and treatment
