How To Confirm Pregnancy?

i am on the nuva ring my last perios was june 2nd on june 20th me and my boyfriend took the nuva ring out at night during sex we fell asleep and forgot to reinsert it until the morning..it was out for longer than three hours i reinserted the ring as soon as i noticed it could i be pregnant and if i am should i take the ring out? its due to be removed tomorrow and stay out for a wk..if the ring is in during pregnancy will it cause complications? i just read that if i was pregnant a test would not show up yet if i was

Hallow Dear,

I have gone through your problem and appreciate it.

Nuva ring acts due to the Oestrogen hormone contents in it. It raises the oestrogen levels in the body which make body changes and does not allow pregnancy.

A break by couple of hours should not lower the oestrogen levels drastically. I do not think you should be worried about pregnancy because Nuva ring was out of the vagina for 3 hours.

Still if you miss your period, please do not panic. Wait for 8-10 days before you perform urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography since these tests are not conclusive before that period.
