Hi, I did the home pregnany test and the T line is very faint. I repeated the test after 72 hors still the Tline appears very faint. I also did scanning where it said the uterus is normal and there is ovary in the right ovary. Please suggest should i go for HCG blood test?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the faint line on 'T' is seen in abnormal pregnancies like abortion or ectopic pregnancy or if the test is done too early just after missed period. It is better to do a urine pregnancy test a wek after missed period for accurate results.Repeat the test after 10 days.No need to go for blood Hcg testing.Because ultrasound will confirm the status of pregnancy.Pregnancy is ssen at 5 weeks in trans vaginal ultrasound and at 6 weeks in abdominal ultrasound. So wait till that period.Meanwhile you can take folic acid tablet once a day and any hormonal supplements if suggested by your doctor.Dont worry.
