my brother has just been admitted to the hospital with his sugar level over 500. He has recently been dropping weight. He has never been overweight to begin with. He has cramping in his legs and urinating a lot during the night. All signs of diabetes. Even at a level of more than 500, is it likely that this problem is manageable and he will probably be ok. I know with levels that high, he could have gone into a coma. I know about this because with my last pregnancy three years ago, I developed gestational diabetes. Thank you, A very worried sister.
