How To Control Elevated Cholesterol Level Without Medicine?
my choloestrol level is 384mg/dl, triglyceride 693mg/dl, hdl 30mg/dl , vldl 240mg/dl. i am taking fenovas for this for last three months and havenot yet repeated the tests . my sgpt, sgot levels were also raised , please advice how can i control my choloestrol levels without medicines. has there any adverse effecys of these medicimnes. myself 36, years old male.
Firstly with such elevated lipids you need to see a cardiologist asap. Along with his medications you should follow a strict diet to bring down your levels. 1.Limit oil intake to 3 tsps per day.Use olive oil or rice bran oil since it has good MUFA content. 2.Omit fried,oily stuffs such as samosas,puris,all farsans and restrict yourself to steamed options. 3.Brisk walk or any form of aerobic exercise daily for 45 minutes. 4.consume lots of fibre in your diet such as raw salads and fruits.
