Hello and thank you for the question!
In fact, there is a connection between high
glycemia and
high cholesterol and people with
diabetes have higher rates of cholesterol abnormalities. If you try,you can make improvements in cholesterol and glycemia levels.Lifestyle changes are your first line to do this. Decrease your fat intake, maintain a normal weight and increase physical activity. So,eat healthy by decreasing the amount of total fat,
saturated fat, trans fats, and cholesterol you eat,eat smaller more frequent meals, try to avoid whole eggs but use more eggs white, fruit, vegetables, beans, legumes, seeds, nuts and whole grains.Try to eat more fish and chicken than red meat.Drink more water.Reduce your intake of sweets, animal products, and refined carbohydrates.Cut down on tobacco and alcohol.Be more active, which means least 30 minutes of daily
aerobic exercise or 30-60 minutes four to six times per week. These are the fisrt rules to control your glicemia and cholesterol levels.Of course if you realise that these levels are not being controled by this way,you have to consult your doctor, because maybe you need to start medications!
Best regards!
