I have a cholesterol reading of 241, Trig of 324, HDL 33, LDL 143 and WBC of 11.4. 3 years ago I was Dx'd with Metabolic Syndrome, and take off of Metformin at 13 weeks Pregnant with twins. My doctor never put me back on anything, and now with these numbers I'm petrified. My biggest concern is my WBC, the rest I know how to control.
UHi, I have gone through your question. Lipid profile is deranged in pregnancy and therefore no treatment is given for high cholesterol and LDL levels in pregnancy. Metformin is generally not preferred in pregnancy. The white blood cells count in pregnancy is normal up to 14,000.to 16,000 per cu cm . The levels are increased in pregnancy because of the increased formation of WBCs in the body. I suggest you to not to worry as your white blood cells count is within normal range. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
