Hi, I know a lot about aviation and how to fly planes, and I am 15 years old! My dream is to become an Airline Pilot, however I do have a lazy eye. The eye can correct itself if I shut my other eye and if I had 20/20 vision in each eye (including the lazy eye) would that be acceptable for a class 1 & 2 Medical examination? I have also looked at other websites, which says you can get a SODA and other government waivers, so if you can prove that you can fly the plane, they can accept you! Is this correct? If you do not have this information, could you please inform me of where I could get the information.
hello, as you mentioned you have 20/20 vision in both eyes means vision is normal do you have squint? if yes then whether constant or intermittent visit an strabismologists and get your sensory ophthalmic evaluation done and take treatment for eyes. ido not have information about airline pilot trainig take care and ready for future queries
