How To Cure Belching, Food Coming Up The Esophagus And Scratchy Lumpy Sensation In The Food Pipe?

After 2 rounds of antibiotics I have started having lots of belching, sometimes food coming back up, and scratchy, lump sensation in food pipe, below throat that I feel towards the back. I can swallow but it feels weird and it makes me extremely anxious. I have terrible health anxiety, in general, and now I panic when I read about esophagus cancer. I am a 41 yo female, never smoked, do not drink and to my knowledge I never had gerd. Once or twice a year I do happen to have an episode of" food stuck in the pipe"....that I didn't chew properly and it goes down "the wrong way", which leaves me breathless and with pain, radiating in the back....until iT finally slides down to the stomach, and then it's all back to normal again. I always assumed this can happen to anyone who swallows an unchewed bite,so I never cared about it.
IPlease help!!!

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The history given by you- regurgitation, belching are suggestive of indigestion. A feeling of something sliding down suggests presence of hiatal hernia.
However, food sticking in the food pipe and difficulty in swallowing are features seen in esophageal malignancy.
You need to consult a gastroenterologist for clinical examination and investigations.
An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy needs to be done to look for any growth or any change in the food pipe.
In case, any growth is detected in the food pipe and/or stomach; a biopsy will help to examine the growth or lesion microscopically and hence make the diagnosis.

Thanks and take care
