How To Cure Bleeding And Pus From The Ear With New Ear Piercing?
My daughter has had her ears pierced for 2 months and tonight her one ear is bleeding and pus came out. She has been to a fun day and could have banged it today. I have cleaned it with proper cleaning solution. is it just a case of cleaning it and it will heal??
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that there is infection at the site of piercing leading to blood and pus discharge.. It can also be due to allergic reaction to the metal of which the earring is made up of as if it is not made of inert metals like gold or plastic.. I would suggest you to gently remove the earring and clean the are with an antiseptic solution.. You can apply an antiseptic ointment over it as it will reduce infection.. Keep the are clean and dry and do not let moisture accumulation in that area.. Once the healing occurs wear gold or plastic earrings as they are made of inert materials and will not cause decomposition into harmful products when exposed to air or water and cause irritation and infection of skin around the piercing.
Hope this information helps..
