Please type your query here...hi i have disturbed sleeping pattern . it just started few months ago . i am having difficulty in falling asleep as well as getting up between the sleeps . i took various sleepin drugs like zoplicone zolpidone etc . but i wanted to know wat is happening with me bcoz i have never taken these drugs before. is there any permanent cure for this disorder

Usually a sudden onset sleep problem with initiation difficulties & frequently interrupted sleep is suggestive of Depressive disorder or anxiety disorders. How is your appetite, overall mood, interest in various things like work, watching TV etc, your overall energy levels lately? is there any significant change in any or all of these? If yes, then your sleep problem is a part of underlying depression or anxiety. Hence, consult a Psychiatrist & ask for treatment like sleep hygiene, drugs like Mirtazapine, agomelatine, SSRI etc. which are non addicting & can cure your underlying mental illness & sleeping problems rapidly.
