How To Cure Excruciating Pain At The Site Of Hepatitis A Vaccination?

My 51 year old husband, 5'11", 160 pounds, received a tDap vaccine from the Health Dept clinic 3 weeks ago to prepare for a trip to Africa. A long with the tDap he also had MMR, Polio, and Hep A vaccines. I went also, but only had the Hep A. My husband woke up yesterday with excruciating pain in his bicep, a little below the injection site. It is so painful that he cannot sleep and claims he wants to cry. Is it possible for this to be a side effect from the tDap vaccine? Thank you, Vicki R.
