How To Cure Joint Pain After Recovering From Pneumonia?
MY DAUGHTER RECENTLY HAD PNEUMONIA (SHE IS 48 YEARS OLD) FOLLOWING HER HOSPITAL STAY SHE WENT HOME. SHE STARTED SUFFERING JOINT PAIN TO THE POINT IT TAKES HER FOREVER TO GET OUT OF BED AS IT IS SO VERY PAINFUL. SHE CAN'T BEND HER ARMS AND OTHER JOINTS ARE AFFECTED THIS WAY ALSO; SHE FEELS LIKE SHE HAS CHARLEY HORSES IN HER JOINTS. WE ARE VERY CONCERNED AND HER DR. TREATS IT VERY LIGHTLY. WE ARE VERY, VERY CONCERNED. THIS IS NOT LIKE HER. SHE NORMALLY IS A VEY ACTIVE, HAPPY PERSON.
This condition is viral induced arthralgia. I would suggest you to take following test for her. CRP, ESR and Ra factor, anti CCP antibody. After study of these reports i would suggest her following medication 1. HCQ 2. Methotrexate 3. Sulphosalazine 4. Brufen I would suggest you to show her to rheumatologist and then start this treatment. It will take some time but she will be completely normal.
