I have sleep apnea, I am on a Bi-Pap machine and it works fine, it is not tight, and I have a good seal. The problem is, I have bumps on my scalp, that won't go away, and also they are raised and red when they start. I can't seem to get rid of them no matter what I try. Even with the advice of my doc.
The best way to approach is to start an empirical oral antibiotic for a week OR 10 days (My choice of oral antibiotic would have been Amoxycillin in combination with clavulanic acid, thrice daily OR Cephalexin 500 mg thrice daily for a week).
Also apply OTC antibacterial cream/ointment e.g 2% mupirocin ointment OR Neosporin ointment, twice daily for a week.
You could use an antiseptic shampoo e.g Betadine -AD shampoo daily for scalp wash
