How To Cure Severe Pain/ Inflammation From Shoulders To The Arm Pit To Hands With Tingling In The Fingers?

I have had severe pain from my shoulders, in my armpits, and down my arms into my hands, it wakes me up in the middle of the night. my hand are swollen, and have the sensation that they are on fire, also it feels like I had put muscle rub on, but a more intense feeling, I also get tingling and numbness in my thumbs, index fingers and middle fingers......please help, no over the counter anti-inflammatories help

It will be more helpful if you give information about
-your job profile(working on computers for long duration or lifting of heavy weights, etc).
-any associated pain in the neck region?

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having cervical nerve compression due to cervical spondylosis.

I would advise that you should get a MRI of neck done to know the cause of your symptoms.

You can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with muscle relaxant like chloroxazone and an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg.

Clinical examination by an Orthopedician will be helpful.
