How To Deal With Depression And Pain While Treating Rotator Cuff Tear?

Well HELLO, Dr. Andrew Rynne......you have gook looking GENES...Id love to know your birth-sign...I am a self-taught amateur Astrologer since 1968. I was amazed that it had everything to do with our BODIES too.I am a Gemini...it rules the arms and shoulders, wrists, hands, fingers. It also rules the mind, and communications. I was born June 3, 1939. On 4/24/16 at 4pm I fell down steps in Applebees Restaurant in Hammond, La. 70403. After 5 MRI s and exrays....the Ortho doctors here say i have a TORN and FRAYED ROTATER CUFF on right side. NO broken bones. Since that day I have not slept a night thru without PAIN.....They are offering to insert 2 cameras into my shoulder...I am very scared and depressed...and am losing my will to live. I don t know what to ask you. Ive been to 3 web sites and have been talking to secreteries of STEM CELL DOCTORS.....how much do you charge to exchange thoughts with a Gemini....77 years old. I was spry and active and have a boyfriend 16 years younger than me...my care give....etc. my name is Josie Parent. I retired at 65 yrs. old.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, the issue of Rotator cuff tear is a clinically challenging entity.
* In my clinic, I do offer the patient a full conservative trial of therapy with assisted physiotherapy, laser shots over the region, best anti-inflammatory medications and observe the pain scale improvement over the period of time.
* If there is a better response to the same, you are lucky to avoid surgery and if not then have to undergo laparoscopic repair of the tear with best results in expert hands. Keep rocking at 65 dear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
