How To Determine The Paternity Of The Fetus?

My daughter lost her partner to suicide 7 weeks, 5 days ago and has just found out by ultrasound that she is 6 weeks 5 days pregnant. She just finished a very light period on the day he died. Is it possible that the baby could be her partners. She did have sex on 1 occasion after her partner died as a rebound and it seems to me that this guy may be the father not her partner. She has had a very rough trot and this is stressing her out even more and I feel it is not good for her.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is more likely that the baby's father is the person she was intimate with after the death of her partner.

Though ultrasounds are not entirely accurate, they are normally only off by a few days (2 to 3).

I hope this helps and wish her the best
