sir,my father aged 61 years,weight 72 kg and having no past complaints of eye defects, is having cataract in one eye but it is in initial stage .the local doctor has prescribed some medicines and one eye drop(CATLON)but now they are finished.medicines are discontinued but eye drops are taken irregularly.he is not willing to wear glasses as prescribed by the doctor.I dont know what to do until the situation may get worse. sir,please guide me out and suggest some remedies and measures to be taken regarding that.

Hello It seems from the history that your father is having cataract. As of now there are no medical treatment to treat cataract. The treatment for cataract is by cataract surgery and intraocular lens in implantation. If he is not having any difficulty in vision he can wait and later he can undergo cataract surgery with consultation with your ophthalmologist.
