How To Find Diagnosis For Microscopic Malformations If MRI Results Are Non-conclusive?
I have symptoms in line with Microscopic Lymphatic malformations (identified iby MRI), but MRI produced non-conclusive findings- the malformations (diagnostic information) are too small to detect (can happen). Pathology results also produced non-specific findings (common issue with this condition). I can no longer be tested due to time factors and scarring effects.Prior to 2001, diagnosis of this condition was based on symptoms and pathology findings. Now MRI is used to detect malformations-the main information used for diagnosis. How do I find diagnosis for microscopic malformations if MRI results are non-conclusive. Do experts in these cases diagnose on symptoms alone anymore? Any ideas. Technically I remain half diagnosed and have symptoms to Lymphangiomatosis (diffuse, multisystem condition involving microscopic lymphatic malformations)..

1.The report suggest microscopic malformations identified by the MRI. The exact report was not mentioned, how ever i try to elaborate.
2.There might be some abnormal signal changes through out the area of examination.
3.The lymph nodal enlargement is seen as a homogeneous mass lesions.
4.But definitive diagnosis is always histological and pathological studies.
5.As MRI will only evaluate the findings of any abnormality, definitive nature of cell will be from the biopsy / FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology.
