Hallow Dear,
For terminating
pregnancy up to 9 weeks, medicines are quite useful. There are two regimes as suggested by WHO:
Regime A: Mifepristone +
Misoprostol Regime
Tab. Mifepristone is followed by Tab. Misoprostol by vaginal, buccal or sublingual route or followed after 24 to 48 hours orally.
Regime B: Misoprostol only
Tab Misoprostol by vaginal or sublingual route every 3-12 hours up to three doses.
Usually within 24 hours but not later than 7 days, abortion process starts.
These medicines cause developmental abnormalities in baby. Hence in case of failure, the decision should not be reverted to continuation of pregnancy. Then the pregnancy should be terminated by surgical methods like MVA aspiration.
Since, your first attempt has failed, you may repeat a SCIENTIFIC dose of proper medicines by appropriate route with Obstetrician's consultation only.
These medicines are prescription medicines and should be bought by Obstetrician's prescription only. They should be taken under observation to prevent and/or treat any complications like
incomplete abortion, bleeding, infection, etc.
I hope this helps you.
