How To Get Relief From The Painful Lumps On The Rear Side Of The Head?
I have painful lumps/bumps on the rear left side of my head. Hard to touch - painful to try and lay on that side - I do have an appointment with my dermatologist next Mon the 19th - but not sure if this is related to her field ! Just need some pain relief! Thank you for any help ----

It seems like folliculitis. It is nothing but inflammation arising from the base of hair follicles. Other possibilities are enlarged lymph nodes.
You can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain. A short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxclav will be better to tackle the infection.
