Hello doc.
I have an oily skin.Not very oily but quite a bit.also I have dandruff. Used a shampoo for that but to no avail.
I started developing acne 2-3 years back.
And as it started becoming a concern for me in the last year and a half, I took steps to cure it. At first I used to apply Multani mitti(fuller's earth ) with Rose water. But no good results came out. So quite a few months back I went to the doctor and he advised me to apply 2 creams 1.metrogyl gel (2 times a day for one hour) and Deriva cms (once before going to bed for half an hour).when I applied them for a few days pimples used to go away a considerable amount.
The only time I applied metrogyl gel consistently, it removed the pimples. Then for a few days I didn't apply anything and everything was fine.
I also think they come out more when I go to school as compared to holidays. Also do they have seasons? More in summers?
Now for 6-7 days I've been applying metrogyl gel and still one or two whiteheads come but for a Day only. Also, any pimples clearing facewashes do not work for me and cause more acne!
Currently I wash my face with a simple Garnier face wash once in the morning and then before and after I apply cream(metrogyl) twice. Then I wash it when I sleep.
Please help and provide an answer.
