How To Get Rid Of Allergic Reaction To Bactrim?
Is there anything to help alleviate severe symptoms associated with an allergic reaction to bactrim? (severe body pain and sensitivity, headache, nausea, rash, insomnia to just name a few). Husband went to dr today after 3 doses and after blood work determined allergic reaction to bactrim to try otc benadryl was only treatment offered.

Anti histamines and future avoidance of the allergen are the main aspects of treatment of allergic reaction.
In severe reactions, that are no responsive to the use of the antihistamines, steroids may also be needed.
If he does not respond to the anti histamines the this is an option.
