How To Get Rid Of Itchy Throat?
Hi. As of two days ago I started to have a scratchy throat which is getting worse and I have petechiae in the very back of my mouth above my uvula. Should I go to the doctor to get checked for strep? I also read online that petechiae could be caused by certain medications including naproxen which I take occasionally for my IT band tendonitis.

In my opinion see a doc would be better. Meanwhile you can start warm saline gargles with a course of antibiotics and antihistamines. Avoid smoking and alcohol....
