How can one get rid of lipoma-benign fatty tumors? I have about 20-25 on each arm. Might be caused by a liver that doesn't break down fat. They are hereditary. The ones my father had removed grew back, so that is not an option for me. What can you suggest?
As per your query you have multiple lipomas around 20- 25 on each arm which is a pure benign condition and need not to worry much about it. A lipoma is a slow-growing, fatty lump that's most often situated between your skin and the underlying muscle layer. A lipoma is n't cancer and usually is harmless. Treatment generally is not necessary, but if the lipoma bothers you, is painful or is growing, you may want to have it removed. You most likely have the diagnosis of familial lipomatosis as you said your father had the same. Treatment can include simple excision, endoscopic removal, or liposuction if large. Liposuction, whether laser Liposuction or traditional will leave some of the lipoma cells behind which over time will probably recur though it may take years. So consult surgeon for proper examination and treatment . Applying Apple Cider Vinegar and turmeric powder will help in reducing the size of lipoma .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
