How To Get Rid Of Red And Itchy Rashes All Over The Body?

I have rashes all over my body, that are red and very itchy, its on my arms and legs and back ,feet, fingers, I have tried some hydro cortisone creams and benadryl pills and cream too, Its been going on for a week, I havent eaten any shell fish or any foods out of the norm.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain red itchy rashes all over the body can be due to causes like Contact Dermatitis that can b due to allergic reaction to things like Poison ivy, pollen,leather, latex etc, food allergies, scabies causing mite infestation, allergies to any medication etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and in case if it is an allergic reaction you can be advised to take injectable anti-allergics and steroids to rapidly reduce the allergy symptoms that will be followed by oral anti allergics and steroids..
Application of steroid ointments and cool compresses can help.
You can also apply Calamine lotion to soothe the skin ..
He can also advise you allergic tests like Patch test, RAST test and food challenge test to rule out the exact cause o allergen and instil an immunotherapy to reduce the severity of symptoms if it happens in future..
In case if it is due to Scabies that is a mite infestation infection you can be advised to apply ointments containing Premetherin and oral intake of Ivermectin along with anti allergics to control itching..
