How To Get Rid Of Swollen Tonsil And Phlegm In Throat?

I have a very swollen tonsil on the right side. It has been this way for almost a year and I don t have pain or discomfort and rarely get sick, although I do have difficulty swallowing at times and a lot of phlegm that collects in my throat. Should I be worried?

Hello

Well. you dont have to worry much, but the phlegm and swelling are not normal and indicate a chronic infection in your throat!
I would like you to meet your doctor for considering antibiotics for the swelling and also to rule out a sinus infection!
For the time being, you can start gargling with warm salt water and avoid spicy food.
Thanks
