I had a hysterectomy in September of 2010. Now I have an odor I can t get rid of. It s not fishy and I do not have a discharge. What could that be and could it be related to the hysterectomy?
I had a hysterectomy in 2004. I have never noticed a change in smell, but was recently told I had one. I still don't smell anything different. There is no fever, itching, or discharge. So, i have clue what is going on.
Hello,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic. If the smell is associated with any fever, itching, foul smelling discharge or pain in lower abdomen then chances of a genital infection and pelvic inflammatory disease are there. I suggest you to get a pelvic examination and swab culture of the vaginal discharge done to rule out any infection. Please consult a gynecologist for this.
Hope it helps you. Regards.
