How To Get Rid Off The Chronic Cough?
my son is 11, had pneumonia in Oct, has been on 3 rounds of antibiotics, prednisone and today STIl has a chronic cough. It is breath taking and lasts up to 4 hours at a time. We have been to ther ER numerous times as well as his family MD. Nothing is helping. I am extremely worried

It's the urgent time to go for the following tests-
1. Spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility
2. Sputum eosinophil count
3. A repeat chest X-ray (PA View)
4. Stool for ova, parasites
5. Total serum IgE level
6. Absolute eosinophil count
Go to a pulmonologist and get yourself thoroughly examined.
