How To Get Rid The Chalazion?
Hello Dr. Meyer. I have had a chalazion for about 8 months now. It is not painful, but it is a red bump (6mm according to my optometrist). I'm assuming surgery would be my only option at this point but I started washing my eyelid with epsom salt and it is helping with the redness. Do you know if tumeric powder and L-Lysine would help reduce the chalazion size before I go along with doing the surgery?

surgery is the only option of treatment. it is a simple opd procedure. it is done under local anesthesia and scooping it out by chalazion scoop.
