Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have irregular heard beats at times from nowhere. Have not been able to locate any trigger in 7 years. Echo, Stress echo, TMT and all other blood tests are fine. Hb remains around 12. No thyroid, no sugar. The irregular heart beat stays for some time and then comes back to normal. Normal heart rate is 60 and goes up on exercise upto 150 bpm. I am regular on exercise or daily morning walk. Never had pain or any other symptom. But the feeling kills me every time it is there. I can sense even the smallest disturbance with my heart beat. Please advise.
Hi, You have had a number of relevant investigations but you have not mentioned a 24 hour ECG. This would possibly record the abnormal heart rhythms and help make the diagnosis. I suggest you see a cardiologist to discuss this. Regards, Dr K A Pottinger, MBChB FRCA
