General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Normally most doctors would try to avoid giving babies medications if not needed.

In terms of supplements, one containing vitamin D and K can be used, most other vitamins or minerals would be supplied via the breast milk.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
