How To Interpret Chest X-ray (roentgenographic Report)?
Hi doctor. my chest x-ray (roentgenographic report) report says that Impression: Pneumonities, Bibasal. Streaky densitites are seen in both lung bases. Pulmonary vascular markings are within normal limits. heart is not enlarged. Diaphragm and thorax are unremarkable. What does it mean?
According to reports there are streaky infiltrates in both lung bases.It may be due to pneumonia,tuberculosis etc.You need proper clinical examination and further investigations. Firstly,complete course of broad spectrum antibiotics should be prescribed. Both CP Angles are clear. Pulmonary vascular markings are normal. Mediastinal shadows are also normal. Cardiac size is within normal limit Hope i have answered your query.
