my segmenters was 0.35 while the normal range was from 0.50 to 0.70 and the result of my lymphocyte was 0.58 and the normal range was from 0.20-0.40. Also my rbc count was 5.16 and the normal range for female is 4.5 - 5.5X10 12 L. May i know what do those results mean? thanks a lot.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The test report that you have posted is that of differential white blood cell counts and RBC count. The red blood cell count is within normal limits. The differential white blood cell count shows increased numbers of lymphocytes and decreased levels of neutrophils. The lymphocytes are increased in chronic infections like viral infections. However, total leukocyte count is required for absolute counts. Kindly, post your total leukocyte counts for better interpretation.
Clinical correlation has to be done to assess the cause of increased lymphocyte counts.
