How To Interpret Semen Analysis Result?

my semen analysis report as follows:

vol:5.0ml, pus cells:2-3/hpf, rbc:0-1/hpf, liq.time:40 mins, reaction:alkaline, viscosity:viscid, sprmatogenic cells:2-3/hpf,

motility:

active sluggish immotile

45 25 30 %(after liq.)

40 20 40 %(after 1 hour)

35 15 50 %(after 2 hours)

morphology 65% normal heads, 35% abnormal heads

sperm count: 32,000,000 /ml

Hello

Your report may suggest semen infection.
Infection is indicated by presence of pus cells and occasional RBC in semen.
Semen infection may be due to UTI or prostatitis.

You need proper clinical examination and further investigations.
You need routine hemogram,RBS,culture and sensitivity of semen.
Proper antibiotics depend upon culture and sensitivity report.

Sperm count is normal.Normally sperm count should be at least 20 millions/ml.

Motility is also normal.Normally it should be at least 55 %.You have 70 % motility.

Sperm morphology is also normal.Only at least 16 % sperms should have normal morphology for normal fertilization.
