How To Interpret Semen Analysis To Determine If IUI/IVF Is Suited?

sir, my age is 31, i had married past 2 years my sperm count is 20 million ,seman analaysis report is below:
Volume : 1.2 ml,
sluggish : 20%,
Non motility : 80 %
Now our doctor said to me we go for IUI Then it will not success ,we go for IVF , Now what can i do

Thanks for writing to us

According to report,you have borderline sperm count and compromised motility of sperms.
Motility is far less than the normal values( at least 55 % of sperms should be motile).
Your doctor has rightly suggested for IUI. In this procedure,semen is directly injected deep in the female genital tract so that it by-passes compromised motility factor.

If it doesn't succeed then IVF is the only choice.
You should follow your doctor's choice.
