How To Interpret The Contrasting HIV Results?

Hi Dr, i am 40 yr old male, i did unprotected sex with CSW last 8mth ago. last week, i suffered white patch on my mouth and tongue and throat pain, so i worried about HIV and did hiv rapid test at home myself, 3 times test result show hiv 1 &2 both positive. i am so scare and nightmare. after 2 days scareing days, i went to famous private laboratory did HIV ELISA and HIV DUO ULTRA TEST. 1 day after, test result received HIV ELISA TEST - Non reactive HIV DUO ULTRA - Negative (Ab-0.08, Ag- 0.01)so, i want to ask 1. rapid test from market can be false positive? 2. my lab result show that HIV negative? 3. should i do another Hiv test? 4. why result show Ag-0.08, Ag-0.01? 5. different between rapid test and laboratory ELISA, DUO TEST? sorry for my so many question hope form your expert opinion and reply i am so scare jame

I will answer one by one
1.Yes, rapid tests may be false positive due to associated parasitic infections like malaria and dengue
2.This might be correct
3.Yes , you have to confirm it by Western blotting test
4.These are OD values for various Antigens(Ag) These values are to compared with given OD values for a positive , negative or indeterminate result and accordingly interpreted .These OD values are unique for one type of test with one reagent .Single values can't be interpreted.
5.The main difference between 3rd generation ELISA tests (also called rapid HIV tests which check for antibodies only) and DUO tests, as DUO HIV tests check for both antibodies and P24 antigen.
