Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I have gained about 4 pounds over the winter and am consciously trying to make some changes to try to lose the weight. For the last 2 weeks I have given up all caffeine and have increased my water intake, about double....70-80 oz. a day. I also have started to eat breakfast. I weighed myself today, and am up about 8 1/2 pounds. I m assuming I am retaining water. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the excess water weight without ruining what I m trying to accomplish?
HI Well com to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such weight gain is not due to water intake or retention but weight gain is not the only symptoms but other symptoms that demands the immediate attention was more important, which are absent here, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
