How To Lose Weight?

I'm 28 years old, 8 weeks pregnant; I had an IVF and my doctor is giving me Duphaston, Decadran, and Proluton depot injection, in addition to folic acid. I feel very depreseed coz my weight suddenly increased by 6 kgs in these 2 months, passing from 55 kg to 61 kg. the doctor told me that this is due to water retention and that I will loose weight after I stop these medecines ( within the next 4 weeks ) but I'm afraid to maintain these extra kgs , what do you think ?

Do not worry as sudden increase in weight occurs due to water retention in the body which might be a side effect of medicines you are taking. Trust your doctor's advice. Cut down on your salt intake to prevent water retention and stay active ( avoid intense form of activity during pregnancy), as activity helps in relieving water retention. Do not try to lose weight by reducing your intake of food as this can harm your baby. You must never try to lose weight during pregnancy. It can be dangerous for your health. Take care
