How To Lower Blood Pressure?

My blood pressure is 154 over 109. I m 41 years old and have just recently started having high blood pressure problems but when I last went to the doctor about it it they said sometimes people s blood pressure just does that. What do I need to do? How can I lower that as well?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Blood pressure if yours what values you have stated 154/109 is quite high. It doesn't come just like that or people will have it.
You need to be properly worked up to be diagnosed as having 'hypertension'.
You need to visit a Physician and get done that for proper diagnosis and management.
In the meantime, you can start and continue with low salt and low fat diet, which will help you to control blood pressure effectively along with medications.
Kindly don't ignore as it may land you in fatal complications.
All the best.
